This week I received my Fysiko Lash Growth Serum, which I will be testing for the next four months! I was thrilled to be picked for this program, as my lashes certainly leave something to be desired. They’re rather thin, and short.
Here are a couple of pictures taken before using Fysiko Lash Growth Serum:

Fysiko is super easy to use, the wand is made perfectly to fit where you need to apply it. You just apply it to the area where your lashes meet your eyelid, as if you were applying liquid liner. You can apply it two times a day, to a clean eyelid, and there’s no need to use a lot. If you use it in the morning, then let it dry for 15 minutes before applying make up, etc. I applied it at night, after washing my face. I can’t wait to start seeing results! I will post again this time next month with new pictures of, what I am sure will be, my longer lashes.
I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
I recently received the Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash, and it instantly became a favorite for my whole house. It’s gentle, so that makes it great for the little ones, plus they think it’s fun. The smell is light and refreshing, not “girly”, so the men in your household can use it too. It lathers nicely, and feels soft on your skin & hair.
An added bonus about the Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash is that it saves you time, and space in the shower! I’m always looking for ways to save space in the shower, and my whole bathroom. I have even started a Pinterest board for it, which of course includes Ivory.
This product will also save you money, it’s very reasonably priced between $3.50-$5, and comes in a big 24 oz. bottle. They sent me three coupons with it, and I actually handed one out to a person at the store who was thinking about buying it, and I gave the other two to friends.
I highly recommend this product for the whole family. We love it!
Head over to check out, and become a fan of, Ivory’s facebook page, and watch this fun video “Tipping Point“!

I just found out that I have been accepted into the Fysiko Lash Growth Serum program through Influenster! They already sent it out and I should be getting the product soon.
I was chosen because I agreed to test Fysiko for 16 weeks, and blog about my experience. So look forward to my posts, I will have pictures of the progress, and let you know what I honestly think about the product.
I can’t wait to get started, and see some results!
I’m expecting a package soon that is going to be filled with some great stuff, so expect some product reviews to come your way.

Another science fiction show inspired outfit, I had Aeryn Sun (Farscape) in mind when I was looking for some items. She typically wears all leather, but that’s not what I was going for, I just wanted a similar ‘feel’. It’s a very simple outfit, easy to put together.
For pants I wanted a cargo look, and I decided to go with the black vest and a white tank top, instead of Aeryn’s black tank top and long leather jacket. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the exact style of cargos I was hoping for, but the ones I found will do.
I’m pairing this with some kick-ass boots, and Farscape Peacekeeper logo earrings. For make up I looked to the ‘Scapers’ collection, and found Guiding Star and for nail polish I found ‘Liviathan‘ on Etsy.
This is a Doctor Who inspired outfit I put together.
I love this t-shirt because it’s actually feminine. It’s a v-neck babydoll, which is unusual in ‘geeky’ tees. The top is evidently a bit low cut, so I might get a white tank top, that has a lace trim, to wear under it. I’d have to add some thigh high Doctor Who socks, because they’re cool.
I’d pair those with a cute cargo style skirt, a pair of ankle high wedges, and a Doctor Who themed tote bag.
Around my neck a Gallifreyan necklace, and maybe a cute bangle for my wrist. For make up I would get a couple of colors from the Timey Wimey collection: Bad Wolf and Bigger on the Inside.
Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon a site called, “Geek Chic Cosmetics“. Make up marketed to the geek crowd? I love this idea!
The thing that made me truly love this site was the fact they have an eyeshadow set, and glitter, based on Farscape, called “Scapers“. Then there’s the “Timey Wimey” eyeshadow collection, N7 collection, “Storybook Love” (Princess bride), “Supernaturals” collection (I love that one of the shadows is called “Idjits”), and there’s just so much more.
When I get a little extra money I will have to pick up some of their products. I mean, how could I not want to give my money to people who make such awesomely named makeup? Plus, I love the colors.
‘Anarchist Priest’, from the “Scapers” collection. Such a pretty color!
